What this tool does
JavaScript can contain comments, strings, regular expressions and templates with meaningful whitespace. This tool uses parsers to understand these structures. Minification disables variable renaming and aggressive optimizations: it reduces presentation overhead while staying closer to the original code.
How to use it
- Paste JavaScript or import a .js, .mjs or .cjs file.
- Format to inspect functions, blocks and objects.
- Choose Minify for a compact copy, or Clean to work on whitespace and comments.
- If an error appears, inspect its location. The previous result is retained and the code is not executed.
Recommendations before downloading
- Keep legal notices. Recognized license comments remain when ordinary comments are removed.
- This tool does not replace testing, linting or security review.
- Do not make the output your only source file. Keep the original and verify your application.

Does it hide or protect my code?
No. Minification does not encrypt code or prevent someone from reading it. Do not put private keys in browser JavaScript.

This tool is designed for JavaScript. Compile TypeScript in your project before using minification.
